Research Interpretation :
The use of the term research in reference to this award shall be broadly include - methodologies, techniques, tools, paradigms and perspectives. The focus shall be on policy and practice.

Eligible research is that which shall or has:

• added significantly to understanding of the status, impact, characteristics and activities of social developments and issues, at theoretical, practical and policy understanding leading towards useful outcomes;
• added understanding of issues;
• added significantly to knowledge; and
• stimulated practitioners and policy experts to use this knowledge to guide implementation and decision making or as rationale for decisions or action.

• A research paper or case study, not more than 8 -10 pages in 1.5 spacing Times Roman 12 size font. This is to be accompanied by a poster submission, which will be displayed on the day of the event.
